Souvenirs for the Pompidou Centre. Art, Architecture and Marketing combine in order to knowledge about beauty

Although many people queue up in Paris to visit the vast collections of contemporary art, the majority of foreign tourists do not know what the Pompidou Centre is. Hence the idea of creating a Souvenir that represents it in scale, in order to educate the public

When asked what the Pompidou Centre is, many foreign tourists respond that they do not know what it was, despite its architecture designed by Renzo Piano, it is by no means enough to attract tourists. The Centre was designed by George Pompidou who wanted to create a cultural institution in the heart of Paris dedicated to multidisciplinarity, completely dedicated to modern art, which was complemented by a large public library, a museum of design, music, film making and audio-visual activities

All the tourists who visit Paris always go to the same places, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Sacré Coeur and each of them has a statuette that represents them in miniature. Hence the communication office in the centre came up with the idea of creating a miniature for the Pompidou Centre

Therefore, a marketing manoeuvre was created specifically for this purpose, which has nothing to do with " publicity " in the sense that we know it, but through which street sales have become its "Network". Once the miniature was created, with the same finishes and scale as the other famous buildings, a series of street vendors positioned themselves in front of the "other famous works".  They have become the Ambassadors of the Pompidou Centre and promote "The Big Five" on the streets, the five great works in Paris

But the statuettes are not just Souvenirs, they have a QR code at the base to guide the tourist to the Centre and there are also free shuttles to take people directly to the Centre and discover its wonders. When Art, Architecture and Marketing collaborate to educate the world about beauty
